Gmer - sito irraggiungibile?
Mi sono arrivate molte segnalazioni riguardo il sito del noto tool antirootkit GMER che risulta irraggiungibile da molto tempo.
In effetti il sito che ospita GMER è vittima, dallo scorso inizio Dicembre a tutt’oggi, di un pesante e violento attacco DDoS che è riuscito a bloccare completamente il server che ospitava il sito. L’hoster ha ritenuto necessario disattivare il dominio. Il sito è stato spostato su altri mirror, tuttavia dopo poche ore molti di questi mirror sono stati attaccati a loro volta.
La tipologia di attacco sembra la stessa che ha visto vittime numerosi siti web internazionali relativi alla sicurezza e lo stesso hosting italiano Tophost che ospita anche questo sito web.
Al momento il tool GMER è scaricabile attraverso MajorGeeks, o altrimenti anche da qui.
PS: approfitto di questa notizia per una breve comunicazione: durante i prossimi giorni sarò probabimente meno presente e reattivo sul sito web a causa di alcuni impegni per lo sviluppo di programmi e di altri impegni extra-universitari che hanno assunto priorità maggiore.

Watch subject. Bush goes ballistic about other countries being evil and dangerous, because they have weapons of mass destruction. But, he insists on building up even a more deadly supply of nuclear arms right here in the US. What do you think? How does that work in a democracy again?
