Pio12.dll come lo rimuoviamo?
Sto vedendo dalle domande che nascono nei vari forum e dalle statistiche del mio blog che molti utenti cercano soluzioni su come
sbarazzarsi di pio12.dll, il famoso trojan downloader installato dagli ormai
famigerati falsi video che stanno girando nella caselle e-mail degli italiani.
La prima cosa che posso consigliare è ovviamente fare una scansione con un tool di rimozione quale Dr.Web CureIT!, fornito con licenza free da Dr.Web. Il tool NON É un sostituto di un software antivirus, è solo un software di appoggio per poter controllare eventuali infezioni. Inoltre NON HA una funzione di auto update, bensì ogni volta che si vuole controllare il pc bisogna scaricare la versione nuova.
Detto questo, se c’è qualche file in particolare che vogliamo eliminare ma non riusciamo con nessun tool antivirus, possiamo procedere a mano. Per fare ciò scarichiamo il programma Killbox (per chi non sa dove prenderlo, basta che clicchiate sopra il nome qui a fianco).
Una volta decompresso e lanciato, avremo davanti a noi un’interfaccia del genere (riprendo un’immagine che avevo già messo tempo fa in questo blog):
Nella casella Full Path of File to Delete scriviamo la directory dove è localizzato il file da cancellare (nel caso di pio12.dll è sotto C:\Windows\System32).
Poi clicchiamo l’opzione Delete on Reboot, quindi selezioniamo il grande pulsante con scritto Single File e infine clicchiamo sul pulsante - evidenziato dal riquadro
rosso nell’immagine - con la X bianca e sfondo rosso.
Fatto ciò, il software ci chiederà di riavviare il pc. Al riavvio il file dovrebbe scomparso. 
Se al riavvio il file è scomparso ma ricevete un messaggio di errore in cui Windows avverte che “il file pio12.dll non è stato trovato”, allora il file è stato eliminato correttamente ma bisogna eliminare anche i richiami al file dal registro di sistema.
Per fare ciò utilizziamo il famoso tool HiJackThis con il quale faremo una scansione del sistema. Una volta elencate tutte le righe, metteremo la spunta sulla riga che riporta la chiamata a pio12.dll. Spuntata la riga, premiamo sul tasto Fix. (Ringrazio ZZR1100, utente del forum di Hardware Upgrade, per la segnalazione).
Vorrei segnalare che sono in circolazione altre varianti di questa simpatica e-mail, due delle quali recitano:

mi è appena arrivato questo filmato, sono davvero immagini agghiaccianti, fatelo girare
Oppure un’altra:
Devastazione uragano ivan, agghiacciante !!
vi inoltro questo video… mai visto niente del genere nemmeno in tv
Insomma, un pò di accortezza e non succede niente 
PS: Prevx ovviamente identifica questi malware 
(pubblicità occulta)

Aiuto preziosissimo: tolto in 5′!!!!
Vorrei però allertare su questo Trojan: a me è arrivato dalla mail di lavoro di un amico che abitualmente mi manda filmati. Lui lavora in una ditta che pensavo dovesse essre “immune” da certi attacchi quindi ho aperto tranquillaente, quindi occhio, questo Pio rompe veramente le scatole!!!!

Salve sono l’admin di acquaworld.it, ho creato un tools per la rimozione del trojan visto che alcuni utenti della mia comunity si erano beccati il trojan (il quale spammava sulla mia casella di posta!)

C’è anche il tool della sophos
http://www.sophos.com/support/disinfection/trojan.html
basta che scarichi l’ide corrispondente al trojan,l’ide che l’individua è questo
http://www.sophos.com/downloads/ide/mytob-hs.ide
Scarichi questo file
http://www.sophos.com/tools/sav32sfx.exe
L’avvi,in C:\ dovrebbe crearsi la cartella sophos,nella medesima cartella ci inserisci l’ide, avvia il pc in provvisoria.
Start>esegui>cmd
e digiti quanto segue
cd Percorso cartella sophos
SAV32CLI -DI -P=X:\SCANLOG.TXT
(Disinfetta i files se possibile e salva il log)
(X=lettera hard disk)
SAV32CLI -P=X:\SCANLOG.TXT
(Scansione e salva solo il log)
SAV32CLI -all - archive -REMOVE -P=X:\REMOVLOG.TXT
(in questo modo scansiona tutti i files/archivi e disinfetta se è possibile)
Poi ci sono altre opzione,lo puoi usare anche dal cd

grazie marco, le tue indicazioni sono state preziose e facili da seguire! ho solo un altro problema, non so se collegato: da quando è comparso pio12, quando apro “installazione applicazioni”, rundll32.exe mi prende il 90% della cpu, senza smettere e senza visualizzarmi le applicazioni..! e continua anche ora, dopo aver tolto il trojan (riavviato il sistema più volte ma sempre così..)…che ne pensi? ciao e grazie ancora!

Innanzitutto Ti ringrazio per le indicazioni che mi hanno consentito di debellare facilmente sta bestia.
Poi segnalo che il Norton (licenziato e aggiornato) non riesce a eliminare il problema e in più ti incasina la vita dando una falsa segnalazione (e falso rimedio).

But just before he re-entered the lander, he made the enigmatic remark: “Good luck, Mr. Gorsky.” Many people at NASA thought it was a casual remark concerning some rival Soviet Cosmonaut. However, upon checking, there was no Gorsky in either the Russian or American space programs. Over the years many people questioned Armstrong as to what the “Good luck, Mr.Gorsky” statement meant, but Armstrong always just smiled.On July 5, 1995, in Tampa Bay, Florida, while answering questions following a speech, a reporter brought up the 26 year old question to Armstrong. This time he finally responded. Mr. Gorsky had died and so Neil Armstrong felt he could answer the question.In 1938, when he was a kid in a small mid-west town, he was playing baseball with a friend in the backyard. His friend hit a fly ball, which landed in his neighbor’s yard by the bedroom windows.His neighbors were Mr. and Mrs. Gorsky. As he leaned down to pick up the ball, young Armstrong heard Mrs. Gorsky shouting at Mr. Gorsky. “Sex! You want sex?! You’ll get sex when the kid next door walks on the moon!”A True story.
